What is the 25 in 5 Network?

The 25in5 Network for Poverty Reduction is a multi-sectoral network of groups and individuals working province wide to eliminate poverty in Ontario.

Established in 2007, the 25in 5 Network played a lead role in successful advocacy work which led to Ontario’s first Poverty Reduction Strategy in 2008, and new legislation in 2009 making poverty reduction a permanent part of government business.

We continue to monitor poverty reduction efforts in Ontario through annual reports, we provide recommendations to government, and we comment publicly on measures needed to eliminate poverty in our province.
